Mellow lake scene
Donner Lake is easily accessed from I-80 and minutes from Downtown Truckee. Public piers dot the lake and West End Beach is also open to the public. Donner Lake Property Owners Association members have access to a private beach and boat ramp also on the west end of the lake. Just east of Donner Lake is Truckee’s newest residential development, Elements at Coldstream, which includes 58 Luxury Townhomes, 3 retail spaces, and 4 live/work spaces in Phase I; 80 detached single-family homes around a Village Green in Phase II and 113 single-family homes around Cold Stream Ponds in Phase III. The future paved bike path connecting Donner Lake State Park with downtown Truckee will route through the community.
